Madame Maison is a video installation where a prominent and majestic figure, Madame Maison (Mrs House), is wearing an old-fashioned gown, with her large skirt is open on the front. Inside the opening, two kids play cooking, sleeping, eating, cleaning and all those chores you normally see in a household.
The installation is functional to the message given: a huge woman who interacts with children as big as adults, a motionless woman who denounces the paralyzing women condition, even more so in the current pandemic situation.
The video is a representation of a mother that becomes a place to live for children, their first home.
